A psychologist’s viewpoint: Education of psychologists in palliative care – an inspiration from Germany

Abstract

The article reports the German concept of postgraduate education of psychologists including required specific skills. Colleagues define palliative psychology as a distinctive specialty. In education they emphasize self-experience, system approach and team cooperation.
